you are the bloom
along my path flowers bloom
took a moment to think
their beauty brightens my day
colors of red, yellow, and pink
all were different, but each alike
they are flowers as could be
unlike my family and friends
and also not like me
they stand only where planted
never can bend to help another
they don't send messages of love or concern
or lended a hand to a sister or brother
so much beauty all over this earth
can bloom in so many ways
if its hard or if its easy to see
there's a way to show the display
care to bloom where you're planted
the beauty of the garden called life
no matter where your path leads you each day
weed out sorrow carefully and strife
if its raining or sunny, pain or contentment
goodness shows to all that you meet
let the light shine through all that you do
its your voice, your hands, and your feet
