You
Light a fire of desire
Inside a home with no walls;
The warmth of your words
Cascading to inspire—
All my future hopes to hold
Beheld by a smile of gold.
And I hear the wires of lyres
As your grace builds my walls,
My home now anchored,
Feeding life until my retire.
All I now seek in the days ahead
Rises because of what you led.
Even when the fire falls tired,
I remember I have you in my walls.
So I keep moving forward
Because of what I admire—
You raised me to my feet,
Dispelling my every defeat.
