You

You, yes you. I've seen you here before

I've watched, carefully observed you through the double doors.

I've noticed your smile, the way you laughed like it's been a while

but now.

I see you, yes you.

Your smile has faded, you walked through those doors dull, jaded

How long were you waiting?

Did he not show? Did you never think he'd go? Did you love him? Did he know?

How often did you call to him?

Yes you.

How much did you love him?

Yes you.

How empty is your life without him?

Yes you.

I was hoping to see that smile, just because it's been a while.

Dance through those doors, end this trial, pick up the phone there's a thousand numbers to dial.

Don't let him control the tides, I want to see you, arms open wide but instead you ran with nowhere to hide.

Come back to me, open my eyes become my bride, let go of your pride, you don't have to die...

You, yes you. I've seen you here before

Those white gates, that's your new door.
