You

The first time I saw you

It was a sight to behold

I felt a feeling unlike no other

But soon to be cold

You and I became friends good and true

We laughed, we joked, enjoyed each other's company

But eventually fell into flames

For years no feeling came by it but it sooned changed

One bump in the shoulder and soon-embrace

But fell towards an abyss of heartache

An unknown feeling for you came about

Like a ruthless knight looking for bloodshed and a joust

Dreams and thoughts came into my head

Of you and I in holy matrimony

But knew our time will never come and so we must end

I never wanted you to leave me for you were special

After jokes, crying, and emotions I could not muster

To me you were the definition of perfection

You were my light in the darkest of days

But you showed me true evil in which I had to gaze

The longest of time I was a fool in a game

A depression I faced when you were away

But now I know we were not meant to be

You were in fact the opposite man for me anyway
