Years Go By

Tue, 01/17/2017 - 13:21 -- Token

Young children play in the street

Encompassed in the daily love they meet

And that goes on until they decide

Realizing that they must take off the disguise

Slowly coming out of the closet from which they hide

Gender never mattered to the hearts of a few

Only the love within the soul that could only be seen by coming to

But this also means coming out

Years go by and still we are compared to those worthy of horrendous ways to die
