Writers
I'm a writer.
To a writer the most beautiful thing in the world
is a blank piece of paper.
It sits there,
with it's crisp edges and perfect lines,
speaking to you,
calling and pleading,
just begging to be filled with your innermost thoughts
or words from the world of your imagination.
The sight causes an exhilaration
that might only be topped by the sight of an old notebook
that has already been filled and loved.
Such notebooks hold a sort of wonder in them
that allows you to feel like a child.
Each stain, tear and piece of tape tells a story
about a time and a place where a new world was created,
or a character came to be,
or a new story began.
Every writer can sense and appreciate
the beauty of the story
and the tools one uses to create it.
