Wrapped Up, Spinning Down

And I sigh

As my bed folds away the weariness

And my dreams, snuggling into my side,

Spin tales of wild, untamed thoughts

That find space to roam free,

Kick up a fuss, and

Make believe without consequence

While my weary mind sighs

Sitting down to untangle the mess I've made

But glancing back up at me

Wondering how I came back

With a another cluster of worries

in disarray.

"Amazingly enough, she's okay."
