Worn

As I crawled on my skinless knees,

On your un devoted grounds of love.

I wasn't ready

Your aim was steady,

Possessed by the intensive curiosity of life.

God, I wish I never spoke

For your words lay heavily on my chest.

My heart pounds like a careless bird,

Enclosed by a unsustainable melancholy.

You put me apart

Alongside with all the reminisce,

Ceaselessly into the past.

Marking every mark, lighting every spark.

Set your eyes on me, darling.

I no longer blossomed like the garden I use to be.

Your soil wasn't purified.

As I lay my Brunette head right against your chest,

I craved to hear your untuned heartbeat

Sufficient enough to be a melody.

Invariably saddening, this new love cuts deep.

Do you see me like I see you?

Perhaps I became my own salvation.

Forget my face.
