The World's Gone Mad

The world’s gone mad
Like a raging bull
Crashing into people
With eyes covered by wool.

Our world’s gone mad
Let’s be honest here
Anger circles Pain
And Avoidance causes Fear.

This world’s gone mad
Morality hides in caves
Freedom is a phony thing
For we're all really slaves.

My world’s gone mad
People, don’t you see?
Life is incredibly precious
Don’t give it away carelessly.

Your world’s gone mad
People kill without thinking
With words and with ignorance
And with such foolish drinking.

The world’s gone mad
Bad laws left and right
Brother hurting brother
Every day filled with fright.

Our world’s gone mad
Yes, very mad indeed
That bull comes with its fellows
They charge at full stampede.

This world’s gone mad
What can we do?
Well, the first step always starts
With little me and you.
