Once I herd a wise man say "Unless you care a whole awful lot, the worlds not going to change, it's not.
What's wrong with the world I just don't know,
I look around and the flowers don't grow
I see the children afraid to come outside to play
Because if they do, they might not see the light of another day
I see the smoke from factories go up towards the sky, choking the animals, the plants and even us as we walk by
I see the wars and the hate being spread around
And I have to wonder what is wrong with the town?
What happened to the idea of peace on earth? Good will to men ?
I see people pass others every day judging them and why?
Because they look different than us? Because they walk different than us? It makes me cry
So at night, I say to God, is the world going to change?
But it just gets worse day by day, nothing ever changes ... then it occurs to me
Maybe it's me who will stop the crime, tie up the criminals make them do time
Perhaps it's me who will make the park safe so that kids can play again without being afraid
Perhaps its me who will tell the factory to go green so we aren't choking to breathe
Unless you care a whole awful lot, the world's not going to change it's not.
Maybe I am the one to change the world- but I can't do it alone, will you join me?
Here is the seeds of what I have sown- catch
