The kindness that lives in my heart

Speaks to the passion that is my drive

And when I read those soft spoken words

They bring me to life 

My eargerness to survive wears me down

But the words that run through my blood 

They keep me bound to my promise 

To make a change 

To make a difference

To inspire 

Poetry is my life 

It keeps the world at peace 

It is the key to harmony
