WORDS OF LOVE

Words of love SO endearing...

When the act itself's involved.

Words of love in the act itself's absence...

(And eyes tearing) have all but dissolved.

There are words of love that can never be absolved...

Words of love that leave much to be resolved...

Words of love that refuse to evolve or be a salve/solve...

Words of love which make a grown woman (man) cry...

Underneath a darkening, arrhythmic, perfect storm filled sky.

There are words of love that make the heart implode or burst...

Words of love that find a way to do their worst.

Seeking only to do the other wrong...

Until someone one fancies more comes along.

There are words of love that are as wolves in sheep's clothing...

That only lead to heartbreak & self-loathing.

Expecting the fringe of a partner for life (husband or wife)...

And the benefit of an interim only girlfriend (boyfriend)...

In the absence of commitment...

And a mutually exclusive two-way street...

All words of love I rescind as I aboutface retreat.
