Words

My eyes shut closed

Cut out from the world

Left ear dead

Right ear bleeding red

Words come and go

I always try to go with the flow

But there will be times

Where it won't go down the lines

The sight a blurred vision

Ready for another collision

Hit and run

Knocked down a ton

Everyday a living struggle

Every night I try not to crumble

Why do everything have to be cruel

Boy was I wrong for following the rules

It's truly unfortunate

Can't really win an argument

All the words shoved down my throat

Choked by the words you wrote

Adulthood a new journey

Bound to be blurry

Do not fall down!

I shout as I drown

Up head stood a new light

Grim and poorly lit

Something that was meant to brighten

Dank and bitter a bit

A world of gray

Nothing really seems at bay

A world where nothing fits

Is the world we're thrust into sprint

Ready... set... GO!

Just let the words flow

Seems to be the only thing I know

Not much else to learn

My mind's all made up

Set far and apart

No more time to hold it up

My time had came to an end

Different and weird

I call it a change of pace

Reaching for what years I feared

I gotten ready for the chase

Long and hard

But I now played my card

Now it's time to see

If I'm still in the game
