Withered Away...

Sat, 08/24/2013 - 17:31 -- AB342

Withered away into a tiny speck of long forgotten memory

With no brightened smiles, no lightened hearts

Quickly ignited into a flicker of a ghost

To illuminate a narrow space of light and dark

And sadness and hope

No love within to escape

From the tethered ropes of imprisoned grief

Searching for a new soul to capture

A new heart to feel

But nothing else remains to ignite the shattered pain
