Wishing
Im wishing. Wishing.
Breathe
Do you ever wonder what it's like?
A starry night filled with stars so bright.
I might just watch all night.
I long to sit in silence one night.
With my girl on my right
And watch the sea reflect the light of the moon.
Swoon as i catch a glimpse of her beauty in the sea.
And gaze into her eyes to find comfort.
She is my sun, my moon
Beautifully folded into layers
Send out a few prayers to make sure im not overly glorifying her.
But I'm wishing.
Wishing. Breathe
Wishing for a fast-forward in time.
A flux capacitor induced travel
To leave me frazzled in the mind.
To a land after time.
Im wishing.
To see how science has affected the grind.
The struggle.
Are acts of violence still at large.
And is it drugs that men still smuggle
Or is peace making a move for the front of the pack
And is love our biggest priority
Are we finally?
Letting bloodied revolutionary feet beat the cracked street
With the same intensity as african drums under tropic zone heat?
But my questions are beyond me.
Im wishing.
Wishing. Breathe
