The Windows

Your eyes are a fountain

That I'd like to swim in

And everytime the water falls

I am washed and rejuvenated

A tree to climb

'Til I reach the top

And I see

The wonderous landscape

Of your beautiful soul

A journey to

The Lost City of Gold

But I have found

Your love is an

Abundance of wealth

A ring may symbolize

But it may never show

How wedded we truly are

With rings of hope

On the fingers of our hearts

If your kiss could

Whisk me away

And take us to a distant land

I know it would

My tears that I cry

Are not because of

A dissatisfaction with your presence

Although I can't help

But mourn, the day you'll leave

If only I could leave with you

But Fate is a cruel, twisted

Card player, and it shuffles

And picks out all the kings

Atleast he shuffled rightly

And placed us on the thrones

As we rule with

The scepter of love

And the mountains are moved

For us to climb

Reaching to the top

As we place our flags

Shouting that we've done it!

Let us take our places

And together we will rule

The world fuming with

The fire of hate

And we shall extinguish it

With our love

For the world to bow down to

And follow our lead

As I travel the world

Searching for the city

Of Atlantis buried underneath

I hope to unearth you

And claim you as my lost

Treasure
