The window of opportunity

As an engineer in training, many things are taught.

We are taught new ways to solve problems, to innovate.

A family builds a great nest with windows that enable.

The mentor I seek, shines brightest

a book, the wings, allow the unseen lands on the horizon to become familiar.

Stretch the wings and fly into wisdom.

A visitor in someone's mind, taking detailed notes.

A cue, routine, and reward used to fly higher, stay longer.

We never forget where our nest is, yet we forage the furthest lands and visit with the wisest people.

Wisdom that gives us strength to fly the right way, no matter the direction of societies' winds.

With a book, we can see different survey's of the same land.

As an engineer in training, many things are to be learned

We learn to solve problems, to grow.
