Wind

Location

Please don't cry, my dear
You were the strength that kept me going even when it was too late
You weren't like the others with their false words... you were sincere
I always thought life was cruel, but just this once I know I was favored by fate
Now I'm to leave you for forever and a day
Before I met you I was a caged bird constantly confined
Being with you was more than just child's play
You were my wind
When I was with you my tiredness would ease
I'm glad we met
Maybe you were a taste of heaven, just a tiny tease
So smile because you took away any regret
And on some sane day, not too bright and not too stormy
I promise you shall feel the wind and you will know it's me
