Will We Ever Be Great Again

Hearts exploding all over the world
Everywhere
Except here
We are no where near concerned
as we should be
I would say that I cared
But you don't see me standing there
Demanding it stop
Make America great again
Against a fate
We pay for
Our solution
Build bigger walls
Make more bombs
While veterans are homeless in the street
With nothing or little to eat
Protecting an infrastructure that is crumbling
We listen to the promises
And do nothing
Our fate is in our own hands
