The Wild Rose

Imagine carrying a

Century worth of memories

Back at the train station

Where you said goodbye

Singing canaries chirping

Hoping to fly

Back when you were a lad

In the hopes of being called a man

You let her stay behind

All is fair in love and war you said

Leaving a wild rose to show you cared
