Why is your God better

Why is your God better than mine?

Why is your race superior to mine?

Why are your beliefs and opinions holier than mine?

Why do you belittle me with your hatred and venom?

Why do you stare at the scarf on my head?

Why do you hate the love between my partner and me?

Why do you scrutinize my skin tone?

Why do you harm my people?

Why?

If I can change one thing, I'd change your attitude- your outlook on life

You, you are the one that needs changing

You with your poison. You with your weapons. You with your tongue.

It is not the exterior that defines a man- not the amount of melanin in the skin or the creature he idolizes

The blood that runs through our veins, that pumps our heart, that stimulates our brains is the same in Men, Women, Christians, Muslims, Homosexuals, African-Americans- we are all people.

If I can change one think I'd change the way people treated people.
