Why Write?

Location

What is a word?

or a sentence?

or a phrase?

Why does it have any meaning whatsoever?

Why do people take the time to drag a pencil across a paper?

What is there to write?

How can you capture a moment in time?

A picture is worth a thousand words,

but actual words will tell the story.
 Why write?

Write to the generations of the future. Let them know that we were here.
Write to release all of the anger and pain that can remain locked inside ones soul.

Write for joy, creativity, and imagination.
Write to be in control of the world that can spur out of your pen.

Write to inform or give others knowledge.
Write to let someone know that you care.

Write to remember and reflect.

Write to find peace.

Why do I write?

I write to be free.
