So many questions to life,
One day we are healthy and alive,
The next a cancer has ripped away my teen friend's life,
But why must they die?
I see the teens and under age drinking,
and gambling with their life,
But why must they hurt themselves and others?
Kids and adults are bullying others,
causing so much pain and mental anguish,
But why must they?
Drugs are commonplace for so many,
and all they do is damage our systems,
But why must they?
Diseases and hunger are in our midst,
and causing pain to those around us,
But why must they?
People harm animals,
when all they want is to live their life,
Why must they be hurt?
So many things we can change in this world,
why must they change?
To live in harmony, peace, and good health I say,
Let's fight to make a change instead of always asking,
Why Must They?
