Why I Write

Why I write

I write to ask questions, bring awareness, and wield thought

I write for you

I write to organize my mind, to better understand, to relieve the tension, to ignite the flow of creativity

I write for me

I write because words connect us

They allow us to share our inner most selves

They allow strangers to explore and experince as someone else

Our words bring us together

I write for us

Sometimes people need to hear what no one wants to say

I write because its time

I write because I am angry and confused

I write because I have something to say

I write because I can

This is why I write
