Why I Write

Why do I write? Writing has become a part of my life.

Through my sinister days, writing was there the day of my wake.

Tragedy after tragedy, lost in a deep dark hole, writing was there, and it became my home.

Why do I write? Writing has become a part of me.

Through the good and bad, writing was there when I was always sad.

Looking for an escape here and there, I didn't know how to get anywhere.

Why do I write? It's plain to see.

Writing has helped me develop a true love for my soul to hold.
