Why Did You Invite Her?

Why did you invite her

The night before our last

Why did you invite her

I had a whole night planned

Why did you invite her

I was going to take you to the moon

Why did you invite her

Carve your name like an ancient rune

Why did you invite her

I'd lie a blanket down

Why did you invite her

I'd show you I'm not a clown

Why did you invite her

I was going to show you that I loved you

while looking at the stars

Why did you invite her

The only sound we'd hear is the waves and the passing cars

Why did you invite her

I wanted to make it hard for you to say goodbye

Why did you invite her

I made it easier and kept it all inside

Why did you invite her

I wish you hadn't

Why did you invite her

Because you are afraid of my presence

Why did you invite her

I hate that you did

Why did you invite her

I'll never know what could of happened if you never did

Why did you invite her

I should of made it harder for you to go

Why did you invite her

Why did you not know

Why did you invite her

I'm yours, but you are his

Why did you invite her

Why did I say yes to make it easier for you to walk away from this

Why did you invite her

I'll never stop wanting you

Why did you invite her

My heart says I love you through all of it's blue

Why did you invite her

I miss you

Why did you invite her

I just wanted one night with you
