Why

It's another day,
Am up refreshed and hopeful
Goodbye kisses planted on her cheek and lips
Same goes for the kids
Out on the streets on with a prayer ib my heart, bless today and may it run smooth and good
In the office deep in my work and wishing time would slow, vibration in my pants, a chill ul my spine and quiver in my heart.
It's your message and at sight it's registered on my face the melancholy I feel.
Why, why now.
We spoke yesterday, I texted to plead you never replied
Why, why now
Am back home with you on my knees I went to say again how sorry I felt, mute you stayed ignoring my being
Why, why now, now that am at work trying to make ends for you and the little ones we made
Why.
