To Whom It May Concern,

 Can't figure out

how to start this letter.

Should I start with the bad?

Or should I start with the better?

Dad is at the hospital right now.

With mom fighting cancer.

While I'm stuck in this stupid line,

"Excuse me, are you still selling cans sir?"

Can't really find a job,

I've prayed and I've tried.

But every time I get an interview

it seems like I'm tongue tied.

Well I hoped you coped

and I hope you've managed.

I pray you have hope

and I hope you remained undamaged.

I've been fine for two years

ever since the robbery

of the only real thing

I can really call my property.

I'm sure you'll do fine

in the next few years

How's your poetry, is it good?

Or has it fallen on deaf ears?

Well now it's time to close this

Don't really know how.

The only real thing I can do

is live for the now.
