Who is left and what?

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth,

and be turned aside to fables.

Who is left and what?

Is it true? Has it been planned ... was it known from the beginning

as man schemes and dreams ... to win the game in the first inning?

Overpowered from the start ... then to rest in self-chosen comfort.

We’ve got it made in the shade ... vacation till the Lord comes.

Nothing is new under the sun ... these things have been before.

Man never learns from the past ... returning through the same door.

To leave the place that disintegrates ... to go to a place of comfort

the place that they feel they deserved ... to wait until the Lord comes.

The place they found is like the one they left ... there isn’t any difference

content and glazed in self-esteem ... to salvation a carved hindrance.

They found a place that they like ... where their ears are tickled.

This must be a good way of life ... for their hearts get pickled.
