Who I've Lived to Be by Lawal Jimoh

In such a step, when seed is sown to grace,
You grow, the World🗺 is right before your face.
Inherit truth and love my dear as told
Its portion needs will find you as gold.

You know, lest, light as lie and heavy truth,
Remember, words own you, you own words birth
Doesn't deny sky its pillars, right on word,
It breezes, rests and lives on you to bed:

I live word and word live me that's where
The light of words is stronger than rock here
This knowledge, wisdom and then power lives
The trees and fruits are held in roots no grieves
I live the Sun in me as goodness shines
And then all good things come for me.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
Our world
