Who Am I (You Ask)

Who do you think you are?

I am myself, ever changing

I am you. I am no one.

I am constant. I am contradiction.

I am the words between lines, the dark matter that binds this world together.

I am not who I was yesterday, nor will I be tomorrow.

I am not to be shut up or put in a box.

Lover, lamenter, fighter, friend.

Loser, laughter, fathomless, foe.

Who shall I be today? What will I learn, how shall I change?

Who do I think I am?

Who are you, to ask about my self.

The answer evades us, for who is self or you or I.

Look inwards first, child, and see what wonders you can find.

For the nature of a person goes beyond what we can describe to each other.

Cosmic, undeniable, wonderful, broken.

Struggling, strong, singular, stardust.

Attributes. Adjectives.

Who am I? Who am I to say.
