Who am I?
I am a significant figure
One of a kind
With the right frame of mind
Got personal pride
On my side
With a loving heart
As well as a spirit so divine
I came from a strong generation
Which helped change the nation
As well as the world astounding demonstration
Hopefully I can lead on the legacy
Of greatness
To be remembered in history
Never to be solved or forgotten like a mystery
With the right attitude and gratitude
I will excel and go far in this life
In this lifetime
The highest mountain I will climb
Just to shout my voice
Stomp my feet
And in all rejoice
Just cause I was given this chance
In this lifetime to advance
I will not stop nor rest
Until I finish this quest
I will not be a statistic
I will succeed
Helping one another, not looking for greed
I am determined for change and progress
Because in this journey you have one life,
So why not out of it come together like a community?
Lending a helping hand
Making a difference,
Making a stand,
For a new beginning
For everyday life,
I will strive, and I will fight
I look at you like my eyes are windows seeing my past and my future
I walk with pride as solid as a stone
For I know my past ancestors gave me this strong back bone
My ancestors paved the way for me
For me to the person I ought to be
Joyful cries singing
Freedom ringing
To keep the dream alive
So we can make it through this world and survive
To be fully educated with life
Also, for our eyes to see
No longer put down or treated like an enemy
Cause we are all alike
In one form shape or another
