Where Are You Going

Starting from struggle
A single mom, an unknown figure
Working seventy hour weeks
For food on the table

Creating a home
Focused on God, He who created us
Thanking Him for all that we have
It could always be worse

Teaching independence
To me, since birth
Reaching for the stars
"I want better for you, than what I've had"

Loving music and art
Each note giving me life
Capturing photos
Emotion beneath the surface

Underestimating myself
Not imagining all that I could have
Suffering from anxiety and depression
Overcoming

Going many places
A small cafe in an even smaller town
Adventuring
Trees in every direction

Helping those who are misunderstood
Because I understand them
Allowing them to feel free
Passion

Showing others where they can go
"You could be the next president"
North, East, South, West
Reaching for it all

Starting from struggle
A single mom, an unknown figure
Working seventy hour weeks
For food on the table

Passing the torch
For now it is my turn to help
Cooking a feast
With no fear of not having enough

Going many places
A small cafe in a even smaller town
Adventuring
Trees in every direction
