For when you feel small

I'm in the passenger seat;

It's nighttime and I

See the city lights

Flashing right on by.

As I look out the window

I can't help but feel

So infinitely small and

Insignificant.

It's a large city,

It's a large region,

It's a large country,

And it's a large world.

It's a large planet,

It's a large solar system,

It's a large galaxy and

A very large universe.

Our existence is full of fleeting moments

So we have to make the most of our time

And help those we can help,

Understand what others are going through;

But most of all be good to each other

This poem is about:
Our world
