When The World Cries

We panic when the bombs drop in our streets.

But when the world reaches out

Stretching its weary arms towards heaven,

We turn our heads,

Shrug,

Stuff our hands in our pockets.

"Isn't it tragic," we say,

And then the thought dissolves like snow.

Who are the real demons?
