When The Lord does not communicate quickly ...

Job 3:25-26

25 For the very thing I dreaded has happened to me,
and what I feared has come upon me.
26 I have no ease, I have no quietness;
I cannot rest; turmoil has come upon me.”

Ecclesiastes 1:18

18 For in much wisdom is much grief,
And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

“Oh! That my grief would be fully weighed” it seems way too heavy.

Every day the load increases even in forgetfulness.

Does anything that befalls us ever disappear?

Do we fit it all in closets of our sub-consciousness?

Grief seems so natural as it comes often unexpected.

Even in a prepared heart it suddenly can crash the door.

Yes! It seems so common and it befalls everyone

as with some it appears like anger ... confusing ever more.

Is there ever a consciousness that has never known grief?

Have there be any anywhere ... who not felt fully bereaved?

How about a child with Down syndrome can it be persuaded

that always feeling good somehow ... is not a special gift perceived?

If calamity is laid in scales ... could it outweigh the other?

If they would be on one side ... could they outweigh the blessings?

Received through the years ... although we seldom noticed

As much we take for granted ... as we seldom learn our lessons?

Is calamity weighed anywhere ... is it heavy as wet sand?

After plowing through it for a while ... does it leave us out of breath?

Is it not amazing ... that we only give ourselves empathy

and when others have calamities ... we see it as a test?
