What's the truth without a

What's the truth without a filter,

It is harsh, hurtful, and well it's a disaster,

Some people can't just tell the plain truth,

Some feel it needs to be improved,

To keep loved ones from the dark insight,

They  shield them by only letting them see only the light,

But when you put a cover over the truth,

It's like letting lies go loose,

Although it maybe truthful it's still a lie,

Because you put part of the truth on standby,

Even though it may be a secret now,

That secret part of the truth will make a grand entrance with a bow,

Although the truth may cause pain,

It's best just to leave it plain,

A lie is a truth with a sugar coat,

But without a filter the truth can bring forth hope.
