What's in the Sky

one billion fish

flying through space

a colorful swish

shatters the depths

two billion shades

of crimson and turquoise

silvery blades

dead, staring eyes

three billion cries

scintillating scales

melodic sighs

fill up the nothingness

like a whispering breeze

flowing through the air,

filtering through cracks

in the boards,

the eyes

shining through the night

like tarnished stars

watching, always watching

ever watching
