What's Beauty??

Location

                   I don’t judge. I tell the truth.

Television lies by judging what beauty is.

You must be skinny to be beautiful. You must be fit to be beautiful.

You must have a perfect cheek structure in order to be attractive.

You must have blue eyes.

You must have straight, white teeth.

The list is long, lengthy, and unreasonable.

What’s the definition of beauty?

Nothing like what television defines it as.

Beauty is goodness on the inside and has nothing to do with outward appearance.

One doesn’t need photo-shop to look and feel great.

One doesn’t need to be skinny to be beautiful.

One doesn’t need to have high cheekbones to be attractive.

One doesn’t have to speak proper English to be perfect.

One doesn’t need blue eyes to be magnificent.

One doesn’t have to have a model body to be ravishing.

One doesn’t need to have the fanciest clothing to be radiant.

One doesn’t need to have a fashion sense to be dazzling.

Beautiful is being smart and, most importantly, being you.

Who needs someone to tell us to be something we’re not?

We must stand together and protect those that want to be different from what society says.

Everybody is beautiful and many people need to be reminded.

You are Beautiful.

You don’t need to look at the television and think,

‘I want to look like that.’

Don’t do that to yourself.

Embrace yourself!

You’re special. Everyone is.

Don’t hide yourself because someone says you shouldn’t look like that.

Don’t pretend that you’re not hurt by others’ judgmental opinions.

Stand up for yourself.

They don’t understand how special you are.

They have no idea.

Show them that you are a powerful being yourself.

Be yourself and stop yourself from falling into the trap of social media and magazines.

Show them that they need to embrace themselves, too.

I want to change what the definition of what’s beautiful and what is considered not.

I want to make sure people understand that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

I want to make sure no one is made fun of because of his or her physical appearance.

I want society to stop judging the outside and not the inside.

It’s time to realize that no one can put a ‘label’ on someone because of who they are.

Stand up for those that embrace themselves.

Stand up for them and support them, too.
