What you see seems what you get

Proverbs 29:11           New English Translation

11 A fool lets fly with all his temper, but a wise person keeps it back.

What you feel seems what you get …

Need of emotions or at least some of them, we know very well

Tears and mournful faces cry with emotional devices

If we could accept that no life resides in emotions shallow spell

We would not try to secure salvation by emotional slices

Emotions cannot bring light to a darkened spirit

Regeneration cannot be bought through impulses of emotion

Sorrow, shame, fear and joy or admiration, interest, and pity

Cannot pave the way to truth, even in concentrated admiration

Man can experience these things and still be spiritually dead

In this world of ours that cannot be accepted

“For what I feel is what I am”, is very often said

And that my friend is nonsense and totally corrupted
