What you see in me.

When my brain

leaks out my eyes.

and I work so hard

my spirit dies

When the end

seems so far

and I lose sight of

what's around the bend

I give up,

give in,

cave under pressure,

collapse.

you appear

to push me on

to crest the next wave

to climb the next mountain

to move forward

even when I'm sure I can't

you believe I can

and I see

through your eyes what you see for me

what I can't see in myself

a spark of resilience

a flash of hope

a flare up of ingenuity

I push on

I crest the wave

I climb the mountain

I move forward

Because you're sure I can

I become all that I could be
