That Is What You Say

An unsettling unrest in a country known for peace.

Manslaughter but not if the cop was confronting someone of color.

Enlightenment entitlement, Equality evidently without Equity, and Economy excluding Environment.

Rape but more importantly “What was the girl wearing?”

Injustice and Restraint for all that’s how most feel.

Constantly changing, constantly talking do you ever just experience and listen?

America The Great are these your true colors or another rebellious teenager phase?

This is not the America I learned about in 2nd grade.

America The Great that is what you say so you don't have to face the mess you have made.
