What We Used To Be

Sun, 11/01/2015 - 07:35 -- Zaa'Raa

We were like the waves colliding against the bay.
Coming so close together, I wish we could have stayed that way forever.

Our relationship ended so violently.
In my opinion unjustifiably.
I wish we had spent more time with each other
I wonder what that would have ended like.

If you only knew
How I felt about what we used to be.
But I guess it's too late for that now,
You're no longer here with me.

What we used to be...
What are we now?
Strangers.
We used to be those people dancing,
In the rain.
Without a care in the world,
Absolutely insane.

What we used to be...
What are we now?
Nothing.
One day, I hope I can make you disagree.
