By What Right?
Location
What you did, you had no right.
Nothing gave you the right to pick and choose
The pieces of me you wanted to see?
How dare you cut me in two because you
Didn’t want to see the whole of me?
You made me become different sides.
By what right?
One was sweet, fluffy and cute. The other
A shadow, a beast, a tiger in the night.
Who could be surprised when I came at you
Claws out?
You only saw the surface and never glanced below.
You never took the time
And now, what right do you have to punish me?
Do you see the whole me now,
Just as I see how shallow you are?
You never took the time and now you don’t deserve mine.
