what is power what does it really do,

just separating, me from you, 

does it matter? it only makes you fatter,

buying the goodies, it couldn't be wacker, 

what do we really need, its far from this deed, 

compassion, love, selfless, open minded and free

reshuffle our priorities, endless mouths to feed 

 gotta move, move forward, a new society, 

we gotta drop, these distractions right now

before its too late, we can't figure out how

were getting lazy, we're getting too dumbwitted,

evolution: its survival of the fittest 

a slap to the face, a slap of the truth were all one,

 search your mind for what you already knew,

we've done it, we've hit the final frontier 

whether we sink or swim: the reaction to our fears 

how will you react to whats going on

 when you see whats wrong, 

howying and yang, an infinite reality 

such a force, stronger than gravity 

we gotta start somewhere, we gotta start right here, 

were all equal, see the truth, push aside the fear,

i thought i was free to speak,  free to rhyme, 

the government turning our freedoms into their crimes,

just to make another dollar off the average joe, 

I'm done putting up with this, this charades gotta go, 

out with the old and in with the new, 

love, compassion, open mind, a lil herb too 

we a need a new system, an actual service, 

maybe our best qualities will begin to surface, 

we must retrieve the light, the apple of our eye 

to rid this darkness, speak the truth no more lies.
