What is Love

Love is the emotion of deep affection
Love is coming home to someone and feeling you have protection
Love has its highs and lows like people it comes and goes
Love comes around like a new season, like rain, hail, sleight, and snow
Love is giving roses and opening doors, its walks in the park and holding hands
That’s what you’d probably like me to say
But love is not always nice, you make one wrong move and you might pay
When you say you love someone you must really mean it
When “love” is said, person will feel it, they’ll see it
If this word is said and you really don’t mean it
That person will hurt, they’ll feel sort of defeated
With this pain they’ll hurt the next person and so on and so forth
Then feelings for love are gone
False romanticisms on TV shows and in movies make love seem easy
This type of love is temporary and unhealthy
Your longing for love will decrease and you will long for survival
But in reality love isn’t always a physical type of something
So again I ask you what is love
