What if we were bats?

Luke 6:39 New English Translation (NET Bible)

39 He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Bats

We want to fly like birds ... and view all creation,

but what if we are bats ... and shadows are our light?

Would we want to be the first … admired in this nation

when light hits our path ... and we’ll hang upside down insight?

Some things are natural … part of our behavior.

Without these aspects ... we would not be human.

We added the artificial … ignoring our Savior

Who provides every asset ... for us to overcome it.

Where will be excuses ... when standing in judgment?

Who will then believe … our sputtering defense?

Shown then our abuses … of a life selfish wasted

too late then to retrieve … or put up a pretense.
