What I Would Change

Life is definite. We all act as if life is a competition in which we must finish first.

We act as if a bigger or nicer house, vehicle or belonging makes us better than anyone else.

The truth is, we have become shallow and superficial as a society.

Life has become more about quantity and the focus on quality has almost disappeared.

Everyone fights for more money, more power, or even a nicer car than someone else.

Yet why does quality not matter as much?

Does it not matter that your car may run efficiently and get you from place to place, even though it may not look like it is brand new? Why has our focus on family and spend time dissapated as we tend to bring our work home with us?

If you don't have the latest techonology or newest gadget there is, then you aren't as cool could be. We act as if we are better than others just because we went to or are going to a different school.

We've lost the true focus on what it truly means to live life to the fullest.

We are drowning in the process of living life, and not taking time to love and enjoy it.

What good is it to rush through life, when the time we have with our loved ones is not going to last forever.

There is only one thing I would change about this world, and that would be to make the focus more on living our lives to the fullest and not allowing ourselves to rush through this beautiful thing we call life before we can metaphorically stop to smell the roses.
