What I Need

And I ask

What are you?

She replied

I am many things

I am eternal and nonexistent

I am personal yet also objective

I am sometimes lost when Death is present

However

I am found when new Life starts to breathe

I am found within those who truly see

I am twisted to appease those who commit evil deeds

I am pure in intent but can be misguided

I ask you what do you think

I am

And I reply

You are the reason I am alive

You are the reason I live day to day

You are the currency that every heart is demanding to be paid

You are the thing I can not replace

You are in everything I do, from work to play

You are Love
