What Does Love Look Like?

Love looks like

A fresh piece of notebook paper,

Crisp and neat,

A pen dancing through its lines.

Love is like

Painting your nails;

It can be rough

But everything ends smoothly.

Love looks like

The steam rising from your mug

As you curl up under a blanket

Reading a book.

Love is like

A French braid:

There are bumps and creases

But it ends up simple and beautiful.

Love looks like

Physical reactions to a movie:

Gasps, sighs, tears, laughter,

As you become the character.

Love is like

Chocolate;

It can take on many forms

But all are sweet.

Love looks like

A musician

Caressing their instrument

Convincing melodies to twirl and erupt.

Love is like

A fresh snow:

Pure and perfect, many delight in it.

What does love look like?

Love looks like us.
